PW Kick-Off Supper - Sept. 3, 6 PM
On Tuesday, Sept. 3 at 6 p.m., come join us for the Presbyterian Women's Kick Off for this year’s Bible Study at SFPC. We’ll start with a scrumptious dinner followed by a video summary of the Bible study taped by the author, Eugenia Anne Gamble. Study books will be available to order for $10.
SFPC at Josephine Sculpture Park Fall Arts Festival - Sept. 8
Join the fun volunteering at the JSP Fall Arts Festival on Sunday, Sept. 8. SFPC is sponsoring the ceramic tile tent by providing volunteers. Want to help? We'll have three shifts: 10-1, 1-4, 4-6:30. Everyone who helps will get a free T-shirt and will have lots of fun. It's a very family friendly event, so one parent could help at the tent while the other parent explores the festival with the kids. Or if your kids are old enough, maybe both parents could volunteer! Find out more about the park and the festival at josephinesculpturepark.org, or ask Doris Thurber (who will be helping kids with tie-dye and the event), or Amelia Berry, or Rachel or Jason Shaw. To sign up, please email email@example.com or call her at 502.229.2551.
Financial Peace University - Sept. 9
(FPU) is a nine-lesson course designed to help you build a budget, dump debt, grow your wealth, and leave money stress behind! Each lesson, taught by Dave Ramsey and his team of financial experts, is based on biblical wisdom and common sense. In your FPU group, you’ll be motivated and encouraged by others just like you! When you sign up for FPU, you’ll get your member work- book and one free year of Financial Peace Membership, with access to exclusive online tools to help you on your journey.
Weekly classes start September 9 right here at SFPC. Contact Brent Sweger at 410.693.5822 for more info.

SFPC Annual Bazaar - Oct. 18-19
Find treasures in the Bazaar in the Basement, bid on theme baskets and pick up homemade sweets and special recipes at the bake sale. The best part is that all the proceeds go to very deserving charitable organizations, both locally and throughout the world.
Bazaar: Carolyn Underwood and her crew will soon be busy collecting and organizing the Bazaar in the Basement. Beginning SEPTEMBER 1, bring your fabulous, gently-used items to the SFPC basement. (Please, no clothes, textbooks or Christmas trees)
Bake Sale: There will be lots and lots of delectable delights home baked by so many accomplished cooks in our congregation. Individual desserts and whole cakes, pies and breads will be available each day.
Theme Baskets: Everyone can get in on the fun with this activity! Theme baskets will be on display for silent auction Friday through Sunday after church when they will be awarded to the highest bidder. There will be a variety of baskets with great goodies inside. You do not have to be present to win!
